Step 2 CS requires excellent listening to pass

What exactly do we mean by “better listening”? The following article outlines exactly what this means; click here to read on. For Step 2 CS, and also indeed with seeing patients in your practice, the danger is in going in with a pre-conceived diagnosis (anchoring bias) and not LISTENING to what the patient is actually saying. Be sure and clarify what they mean by “fatigued” and “just not feeling well”. Also checkout the article mentioned here by Groopman/Hartzband about anchoring bias; really eye opening!
