Good morning. First of all thanks a ton to Ms. Anna Lank and Dr. Mark Swartz for that great clinical workshop. I was in your July workshop and I took my exam in Philadelphia on 8th August 2005. I just got my score today that I passed my exam.
I want to tell you something: Dr. Swartz you are really a great teacher not just because you teach well but I was so much impressed by this that how much you worked hard on us like from your heart you want everybody to understand everything and pass the step-2cs exam. I really appreciate that. You worked very hard with us.
Thanks a lot again, and I wish good luck to everybody who already attended or will attend your workshop.

I am feeling excited to tell you that I just got my result of step 2 cs yesterday, and I passed it!! I took it on 14th June in Los Angeles, and I was enrolled in your May workshops. I would like to mention that this happened after a failure, and the only thing which changed between failure and success was that I attended your classes, which was one of the best learning experience in my life.
On my previous attempt, I failed in Spoken English Proficiency (SEP). Before attending your workshops, I was very confused on how this workshop would affect my SEP, but I was wrong. Now, I strongly believe that following your concepts and styles of dealing with this exam affected and lifted my entire performance including SEP, which helped me to pass this exam.
Things I liked the most about your workshop are: your fundamental approach and knowledge of dealing with this exam, constant feedback by you, Anna, SPs, direct interaction with your SPs who have been real SPs and watching other people performing real encounter etc. Through your workshop, I also got good friends to practice for this exam, and now we are planning for the residency together.
I have already recommended my friends about your workshops and will continue doing that. Most importantly, some of them already took the exam after me and passed this exam.
I am really thankful to you and Anna, not only for helping me to pass this exam, but also for teaching me helpful traits toward my medical career in United States.

I am very much thankful to you for all the things that you taught me. Before attending the workshop, I was very concerned about the direction I should take (what was important for the exam), but you showed me the right path to take. Things that you taught me were not only helpful for the exam, but I think they will help me in my entire medical career. I am indeed most grateful to you and your excellent style of teaching.

Dear Anna,
I want to thank you and Dr. Swartz for the inspiration and motivation. Yesterday I received my result of Step 2CS… I have cleared my exam. I was in your April/May program and took my exam in Atlanta.
On the day of exam I was very nervous, because I was taking this exam for the 2nd time. But then I remembered your words,” take a deep breath”.

I took the C3NY course in April 2005, took the exam in May, and I just learned that I passed the exam. I want to thank you both very much for all the help.
Dr. Swartz, you are a wonderful teacher, and you taught exactly what we need to know for this exam. I would say you are one of the best teachers I have ever had.
About the exam, I did exactly what you advised us to do, I spoke slowly and followed everything you told us to do and I passed because of you.

I just found out that I passed the Step 2CS Exam.
As you already know, I took CS at Houston two weeks after I took your workshop in May. I definitely went to the exam with lots of confidence and clear concepts about how to deal with different SP’s. I definitely benefitted from the workshop and I will highly recommend your workshop to all my friends.

Long time back, I read a famous quotation. It was “a good teacher is like a candle – it consumes itself to light the way for others”. There can never be a better way of describing your teaching at the workshop.
In the middle of May, I landed in US with fear and apprehension about Step 2 CS. But things changed after I started attending your workshop in the third week of May. You gave a lucid and clear idea about the exam and also the ways to achieve success.
I took the exam on 3rd June in LA with gusto and confidence. All’s well that ends well. I passed. I have no words to express my gratitude for the contribution you have for helping me to pass the exam. I will also take this opportunity to thank all the SPs for their critical comments in helping to improve the performance of all the exam-takers including me who had joined the workshop. I also thank Anna and Ginny for their help.
Nothing succeeds like success. With reverence, I write “SIR THANK YOU VERY MUCH” because the “Fearful trip is done…… and the prize I sought is won”.

Dear Dr. Swartz and Anna,
I’ve just received my results, and I passed Step 2-CS.
The workshops were a very intensive 3 day program where I learned how to interview and examine a patient in 15 minutes. It was very focused learning. I have been able to practice it when I see my real patients in real life. It works. Thanks for all your help. I feel I am a better doctor already.
